Due to the increasing number of Corona cases, the Upper Franconian upholstered furniture manufacturers will not invite to the Upper Franconia spring days originally planned from April 26 to 28, 2021. The 7-day incidence, especially in the Upper Franconian district, is currently well above the limit set by the prime ministers for possible loosening of the lockdown. The tendency is regrettably increasing again nationwide. Against this background, all companies involved have decided to refrain from inviting business partners.
Christian Dahm, Managing Director of the "Verband der Holzwirtschaft und Kunststoffverarbeitung Bayern/Thüringen e.V.": "Everyone's health is our top priority. Against the background of the increasing incidence values, we want to avoid letting business partners travel long distances and increase the number of contacts of all those involved, despite a well thought-out hygiene concept. The spring days were intended as a small ray of hope in view of all the events that were canceled in the wake of the pandemic. They were not designed as a classic trade fair, but were only intended to serve as a platform for a concentrated appointment with our partners.
We now hope that the vaccination of the population will progress quickly and that we will be able to invite you to the in-house fairs in Upper Franconia from September 27th to 29th as usual in autumn. "
